NEWS & REPORTS
Friendship at the Field
Our clients along with our manager, Maidel, start the little trip to a place called La Para, located in the northeast area of the capital of Cordoba.
Nile, Bill and Steve are ready to hunt after having a great breakfast in Plaza Real Lodge.
They live very close to New York, and Nile and Steve work together, so this time they are very anxious to star the hunting day!
Our clients are very excited watching the first groups of doves, so they went to get their clothing and start this awesome day they have ahead.
After getting all the necessary stuff, they leave directly to the field, each one with his field assistant.
Nile is a very structured and excellent hunter, but he has an inconvenience in his knee so he had to be sitting when shooting. You can really see how experienced that man is.
Steve is another great hunter. He is always aware of each dove flying fast because of the wind, and in a really professional way, he can turn his shooting direction with any trouble at all. Today, we were hunting with experts with no doubt.
Another excellent shooter is Bill. He taught Maidel many techniques, and he also came to do a day of fishing in the hills of Cordoba.
Doves were flying really fast, which added an extra piece of difficulty to our incredible hunters.
Now, we are ready to have an awesome lunch under the shade of a carob tree; doves in red wine with onions and red pepper are the perfect start for a day of hunting and our chef’s specialty. After that tasty starting, comes the one and only Argentinean Asado made from the most traditional meat cuts in the country.
At the end of the day, Nile obtained a great amount of doves. Almost 1500 in just one day… Isnt that amazing?! And also Bill and Steve shot more than 800 doves each one, a big number for the first day.
Our guests are very happy with how our shotguns work and also with how friendly and professional our field assistants are.
It is time to go back to Plaza Real Lodge, where some refreshing drinks and massages are waiting for our new friends. Bill, Nile, and Steve, the three of them, decided to take a 90 minutes massage each after a super fun but tiring day of hunting.
Did you know that massages after hunting are very popular? In every group, each person takes massages once or twice, it feels very, very relaxing and refreshing, finishing the evening with one of our experienced masseurs staff. There are two types of massages. Both massage seeking release muscle tension and combat pain.
The fire pit is waiting for us before dinner. Around that nice place we are enjoying some Malbec wine, a typical high quality Argentinean wine, a worldwide well-known drink, along with some cold beers and special drinks for each client.
Every day, we enjoy different appetizers around the fire pit, everything served by the Plaza Real Lodge staff. Dinners are delicious; every single dish has its own incredible presentation and its particular taste. Im sure our guests feel very happy to be here.
The starry nights and a great company, make these moments be unforgettable.
That is it. We finish every fabulous hunting day with tons of anecdotes and memories. You can only hear words of gratitude from Nile, Bill and Steve, very pleased for the days we spent together.
I hope to see you again soon.
