The trip goes on and on
If you loved David Knox's experience, here we reveal his second day of this amazing hunting trip!
On the second day, the departure was planned for 7:30 a.m., so the van driven by Federico Gervasoni arrived at 7:15 a.m.
The group was almost all ready to leave, except for Martina's couple (David's daughter) and Hunter who took a little longer to leave since they were enjoying breakfast very much and they were late.
Once everyone is ready, we leave for the Blangino field (located in the lower area of Jesús María, for the Quebrachos area). Once they arrived the day looked promising as there was no wind and it was sunny.
The hunt began at approximately 8:30 a.m. after a one-hour journey. The morning was very pleasant until 11 o'clock when a strong north wind began to pick up and the pigeon became quite complicated for the hunt, but the clients were very happy all the same.
They decided to have lunch at 11:30 a.m. because of the wind, but it also got complicated since a little ashes from the barbecue were blown by the wind. Luckily the customers took it "as if the earth was just another seasoning for the food" and they laughed a lot.
After the lunch cooked by Emanuel, they went hunting again at 1:30 p.m. to take advantage of the afternoon, since it is a field in which doves stop moving early. 3:35 p.m. Most of the clients had finished and by 4 p.m. they were already on their way to the lodge. They arrived at 5 p.m. where Gonzalo and Carlos the waiter received them, with wet towels, whiskey with ice cream.
