Amazing Experience Hunting and Fishing With Friends
Two groups are looking for the trip of their lives. Join us on this new adventure with Tex's and Mark's group!
On this occasion, at San Javier Lodge we had 2 groups at the same time: Tex’s group, with 12 friends, and Mark’s, with 4 people, doing only duck hunting.
In the afternoon, the first group of hunters opting for Mixed Bag split up, so while 6 of them went fishing, 4 went to hunt perdiz, and the other 2, doves.
Two of our guests, Tex and Frederick, wanted to try fly fishing, but normally for those who do not have much experience it is recommended to do spinning with bait. This fishing is very fun and the type of bait that is used is moray eel or eel in post for the Dorado, the most sought-after species in the area and the one that most amuses our friends.
Those clients who decided to hunt doves had a resounding success, since there is a lot of volume in the area. We also hunted in the town of Yatay in a corn stubble field and a pool of water, which left our guests very satisfied.
The next morning we went out with both groups to hunt ducks, only Frederick decided to go fishing, so our fishing guide Ariel “Chela” accompanied him. He is a local who has been part of the company for many years and is one of the best in San Javier for fishing.
On the other hand, Mark's group went duck hunting in the island area in the morning. The hunters set out at 6:15 a.m. and sailed 25 minutes by boat to reach the hunting spot, where everything was very entertaining. Duck hunting is always better in the morning due to the weather conditions, since it is very hot in the afternoon and it is not a good climate for the species, but during the morning it is very good to hunt.
Later, Tex Brown's group came out almost complete and divided into groups to facilitate the hunt. These groups of 4 and 3 people also divided their paths, where some went to the Arrocera area and others to the north of the island, oriented towards Colonia Teresa. There, all the groups were able to complete a very good hunt and were very happy.
