Perdiz Hunt Report

Our mixed hunting season started and all of the birds are here! We started the month with a group of nine excellent shooters from Texas. This group hunted “Perdiz” (partridge) and shooted doves.

Partridge hunting has been excellent as always, with lots of birds for our pointer dogs. We are very happy with the “performances” of our pointer dog , “Luna”; with only three years old she has surprised all of us, even her trainer who says that she is even more talented than her parents. Amazing!

We are also training a new puppy, a German Pointer using sport dog collars for a better training. Federico, the expert in partridge hunt and also the trainer of the dogs (Luna, Captain and Reyna) is the one who will join us in these coming seasons.

Our guide is very happy with these dogs which are doing a really good job.  Our guests were amazed with the hunts, as they could shoot very good numbers of birds every day. Most of the huts took place in the morning, as this is the tie when the birds go out to find their food: corn, sorghum, etc.

We will continue training our dogs to provide our customers the best shooting experience they can imagine.

We wish you good hunts!

See you soon,

Martin Andrada
