This Is How You Start The Year Off Right

Luckily, all the time we get to have guests like them: fun, joyful and amazing overall. I’m talking about this group made up of David, Geoffrey, Thomas and David. We received them on the first week of January. These guys decided to start their 2019 hunting in Argentina! Let’s see how it went.

The morning of our first day was super cloudy and we were not able to see over 20 feet but fortunately, about 30 minutes later, the clouds were gone and the sun was shining again.

After we arrived to the field, we had lunch since our guests were tired and hungry, a perfect combination to be surprised by a delicious meal. Our chef had prepared us the traditional Argentinian barbecue and the guys were fascinated.

While we were having lunch, we got to know a little bit more about our guests. They are not expert shooters, but they love adventure. They told us they came to Argentina to had fun and get to know this great country.

The first and the second days were short, since we were all tired and our friends were a little sore from two great hunting days: empty shells everywhere! They were really happy with all the work of all our staff, the field assistants in particular.

On the 9th, we had one more group that joined our friends at La Loma Lodge. So, they decided to go hunting together that day.

Unfortunately, it started to rain heavily. And the weather continued to be bad for the following days. Therefore, our guests thought it would be great to stay in the lodge and rest a little bit.

The last day, we went to a field near La Para, where the volume of doves was abundant. We arrived at 9:30, just imagine how hot the day was after some days of rain. And not to mention the mosquitoes and other insects... It was unbearable.

But not even the insects could have erased the smile from the faces of our friends. We used insect repellent and we went on with the shooting!

For lunchtime, our chefs special: eggs staffed pepers with meat and chicken cuts you’ve never tasted before. Federico is in charged of making sure you enjoy these pleasures with a glass of Malbec wine. After such a tasty meal, a siesta is a must to be ready for a long shooting afternoon, in comfortable hammocks under the shade of talas and algarrobos, typical trees from Cordoba. Our guests enjoy the quietness, the breeze and the sound of nature.

When the trip was coming to its end, we saw that the gentlemen were delighted. I sensed that we took care of them and they were so happy. That was priceless. I felt and feel amazing I had the chance to spend some days guiding this awesome team!

Dont cry for me Argentina!

You Should Be The Next One!
