On the 29th of August, I welcomed Jeremy, Jonathan, Kassie, Blake, Randa, and Ryan. The group was eager to go straight to the field, since their flight was delayed and they arrived at 1 p.m. So, I took them to the lowlands. 

In our way to the field, they were amazed by the huge amount of doves they could see. Upon arrival to the field, the men put their shooting clothes on, and the women sat to the table. The cook was waiting for them with the food: a delicious and traditional Argentine asado.

When lunchtime was over, they were introduced to their field assistants. It was time to start hunting! Blake and Kassie were very anxious to shot! Once the hunting day was over, they share some drinks and the day’s memories. Kassie told us it was one of the best days in her life! The first day was incredible.

During the trip, Kassie and Randa decided to do some non-hunting activities. They went on a tour to Cordoba city, which is only 1-hour drive away from Jesus Maria Resort lodge, where they were staying. They were amazed with the city. They also did some shopping. 

Meanwhile, the men were shooting. This time, we went to the hills. They were amazed with the terrain. They shot not only doves, but also some parrots, and took photos with them. Once the women were back, they shared the meal together. 

As it was very cold and windy, we gave them hot coffee to warm up their bodies! It was a little bit difficult to shoot because the doves were flying high due to the wind. 

The last day, sleet was falling, but that didn’t prevent the group from shooting many birds anyways. We went for a meal to a close-by restaurant and then we returned to the field. The rain was pouring, so after an hour we had to go back to the lodge. The hunting trip was over, but the group was really happy!

Already in the lodge, the group gave their field assistants some presents to thank them for their services and hospitality. The group was really happy with all the hunting experience! They told us they were planning to come back the following year!
