Nothing Compares to Argentina

November sounds like a great month to come to Cordoba. The weather is lovely! Last November, we were really busy with several groups that came to Argentina looking for the best hunting experience, and they found it right here, with Pointer Outfitters.

Alex Rossi and Van Wilson's team arrived almost together to Cordoba airport on November 16th and 17th, respectively. Van and his son Jack were picked up by Gabriel, one of our representatives, while Alex's party of 6 had planned beforehand to rent a car and drive to the lodge.

Van came just with his son and Alex with his beautiful wife, his sons and his good friend Shaun. These two parties were amazing, and they get on really well! They shared the passion for hunting.

As soon as we arrived to Jesus Maria Resort, we showed them the hotel and the facilities, including the restaurant and the outdoor pool. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, our staff was preparing them some snacks, cold beer and fine wine. It was a splendid night, the weather was really nice indeed.

After they tried the "picada" as we call it here, our guests went outside and met Silvia, their hostess who spent dinner with them.

The guys were so eager to start hunting that they could not stop talking about it and asking questions about the field and the amount of doves.

The next morning, we went to a field located near Jesus Maria with four hunters: Van and Jack and Alex and Shaun as Alex's wife and his sons decided to travel to Cordoba city to visit a friend of them. It was an amazing day! But the following one was even better.

The second day we went again to the field very early in the morning. When we were approaching the area, our guests were looking out the window, really surprised. They had a HUGE grin in their faces, really happy to be there, and so were we to have them!

Once in the field, they started shooting. After an hour of intense dove hunt, they put away their guns for a while and walked to the camp looking for fresh drinks. They looked tired, but also happy! They talked to each other about the hunt and the volume of birds.

It was already lunch time, so we showed our clients while we had been preparing for them while they were focused on the doves. Our chef had cooked an exquisite asado, our special!

After lunch, our guests decided to rest a little bit in our comfy Paraguayan hammocks, below the shadow of the trees.

In the afternoon, we did dove hunting again. This time, the guys organized themselves in teams so that they could shoot together, like if it was a competition. At that time of the day, there were twice the amount of doves we saw that morning.

Our guests told us that they had already been able to shoot in their home country. However, nothing compares to the hunt in Argentina! Here, we have almost all the doves of the world haha!

Thank you for everything guys! Hope you had enjoyed the hunting as much as we did!

What about you? Are you ready for your next adventure?

YOU SHOULD BE THE NEXT ONE!
