They Dont Want to Miss a Minute of the Trip
We picked this party of 9 friends at the airport on the 12th of May. David, one of them, had already been to Argentina and was very excited for his friends to have this experience. While we were driving from the airport to the field, he was anticipating the whole experience to the rest group.
Telling them what they would do and how much fun they were going to have. We got to the field and all our field and cooking staff were anxiously waiting for us. Gabi Pedercini, our chef, had prepared a delicious asado to welcome them to Argentina with a bang! The asado was prepared by our chefff in the traditional Argentine style; delicious and varied meet cuts cooked in a grill on the floor to the fire of local wood, which gives it a unique and delicious flavor. When our guests saw this, they started taking pictures of it to show back at home. We love this small moments. We work hard to provide our guests with a fantastic overall experience, even, when it comes to small details like this. After the photo session with the food, we invited them to take a seat and enjoy the meal together with Malbec wines.
After desert, we gave them hats with their names and company logo embroidered. Great for the sun outdoors for the days they had ahead, also, a great souvenir to remember back at home. We got into the right gear and went ahead to start the hunt. When they got back from the field, they were amazed by the experience. They couldn’t stop talking about it. They just couldn’t believe that what they had hunted in half a day was impossible to achieve in San Antonio. We took our guests to La Loma Lodge, where they were going to stay the rest of their nights in Argentina.
There, our fantastic staff was waiting for them with delicious appetizers and more drinks, wine, beer, cocktails. At the lodge, our guests can ask for massage either before or after dinner and also, they can enjoy the drinks by a comfortable fire pit.
The next morning, we picked them up after a delicious breakfast at La Loma Lodge. Our guests were anxious to get to the field chosen for the day. We usually take our guests to different fields each day, giving them the chance to experience a different hunt. We drove them to the east of Jesus Maria town. Our guest were excited and full of energy. In the afternoon they decided to hunt in groups of two so as to make the hunt more enjoyable. The Robert’s family was just amazed, neither the granddad, nor the father or the kids had ever expected they could fire and shoot down so many birds.
Every group is different and we enjoy that a lot. For the last day, some groups prefer a relaxed hunt given the volume of birds shot down the days before, others want to have fun with the group and their field assistants, and others, like this group, just one to make the most of every minute of the hunt. They do not want to miss not even one chance to shoot a bird. We had some family photos taken before lunch and during lunch we asked them their opinion about the whole experience. They were totally satisfied, both with the hunt and the service, for the positivism and energy each working day.
In the afternoon, our guests asked to hunt in separate spots each and so we did. It felt as if it was the first day of their trip, not the last. They didn’t want to miss a second. By the end of the day, before we drove them to the lodge, they had some more pictures taken while enjoying some cold beers. They told us they had never felt so at home abroad and they thanked all the Pointer Outfitters staff many times.
It was a pleasure having them in Argentina. It’s great to know they definitely want to come back. We can’t wait to see you guys around again!
You should be the next one!
